Group and Class Visits

A Newberry librarian provides an overview of research strategies and the different tools you can use to navigate our collection. The session lasts about an hour and can be done online or in person for groups of up to 12 people.

No fee.

To schedule a research orientation, please submit a request using the form below. While we try to accommodate all requests, appointments are subject to staff, space, and collection availability.

Newberry staff lead presentations of up to eight collection items. These presentations are tailored to your group’s interests and may include a lecture or active learning exercise. For groups of up to 12 people.

Fee: $150

Instructors select up to eight collection items to be featured in their group visit A Newberry staff member will be present to supervise the handling and use of materials. For groups of up to 12 people.

A pre-recorded presentation of up to five collection items led by the class instructor. Instructors can record on-site at the library, or Newberry staff can facilitate filming.
