Sixty meters long and 50 centimeters high, it records, in careful woolen stitches, the principal people and events of the Battle of Hastings, an event that altered the history of Britain and France. In this one-day seminar, we will study the panels to appreciate the tapestry’s artistry and learn the history of the event it represents. The seminar is designed to interest those who have visited Bayeux, as well as those who have not.
