Class Description
The word “Palestine” evokes and provokes different meanings for each person. We will explore different kinds of materials—from old travel guides to a freshly translated novel that asks what it means to be Palestinian (or to be anything at all)—to get at some of these meanings. Alongside these signposts to mark our path, participants will be asked to bring light from their own experiences and knowledge of collectives engaged in struggles for freedom.
