Newberry Annual Edible Book Festival

Newberry Annual Edible Book Festival

Colloquium Attendees are invited to convene at lunchtime for our long-running and irreverent culinary-bibliophilic Newberry tradition! We'll have the finest literary memes and clever captions, dressed up as food. But wait, it's not just three-tiered confections, it's also last-minute brainstorms! As long as these “books” are even partially edible, the inspiration can come from a favorite tome, title, pun or a book shape or form! Maybe even a book uniquely held at the Newberry... All attendees vote on their favorites in the following categories:
Best Depiction of a ClassicFunniest/PunniestNewberry Team ChallengeWilliam F. Poole Award for Most Challenging Item to CatalogPeople’s Choice Best in Show
Even if you don’t have time to make your own edible book entry, please join us in admiring, judging and eating all the codicological creations!

All Edible Book entries are due by end of day, Saturday, March 29. It's not too late to enter your delicious and puntastic productions here!
