Class Description

Taking full advantage of sunny California's climate, Hollywood films frequently feature beach sequences and sun-drenched stars. 

Join film historian Annette Bochenek as she explores classic Hollywood stars and their ties to beach films, the beach movie's influence on fashion, and memorable beach movie moments. 

The class will include a multimedia presentation consisting of photos, video clips, and captivating stories.

Dr. Annette Bochenek is an archivist, film historian, professor, and avid scholar of Hollywood’s Golden Age. She manages the “Hometowns to Hollywood” blog, in which she profiles her trips to the hometowns of classic Hollywood stars.
