Genealogy Toolbox: A FamilySearch.org Primer
April 14 - April 21

Take a tour of the under-utilized FamilySearch.org website to see what it has to offer genealogy researchers. This course will include a review of this free resource and all the research opportunities it offers, as well as other tools useful for genealogists and family historians.

Genealogy Toolbox: An Ancestry.com Primer
April 28 - May 5

So, you think you know Ancestry.com? In this seminar, we will take a tour of the Ancestry.com website to see what it has to offer genealogy researchers and discuss tips and tricks for how to get the most out of Ancestry.

Genealogy Toolbox: Family History Databases to Know
May 12 - May 19

Have you exhausted your old standby resources? Do you need some new records to review? This genealogy workshop will introduce you to family history databases you may have heard of but never utilized, in particular Fold3.com (a military history site), Newspapers.com, American Ancestors, and FindMyPast.

Six sessions. Registration – $230

Caron Primas Brennan is a frequent speaker on genealogy at local libraries and genealogical societies. She has taught at the Newberry since 2009 and is a member of the Genealogical Speakers Guild and the Association of Professional Genealogists.
