Class Description

This course will use writing as a vehicle for discovering and exploring your creativity. We will work through Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, as well as some other writing activities, to access each participant’s own individual creativity. By the end of this six-week course participants should have a good idea of the next creative project they’d like to embark upon; some may even have a solid start on their next project. Let’s write together and see where it leads us!

Lisa Bailey is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Business School at UIC. She is also finishing a PhD in English Composition and Rhetoric, commonly known as Writing Studies, at the University of South Carolina. She loves living in Chicago, visiting libraries, and learning more about how students learn.
