Please join the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Newberry Library for an announcement of new NEH grants to Chicago-area institutions.

The announcement will be followed by a discussion between Jon Parrish Peede, Chairman of NEH, David Spadafora, Newberry Library President and Librarian, and others on the importance of cultural memory.

Doors open half an hour before the program begins, with first-come, first-served seating for registered attendees. We will admit walk-ins without tickets if space permits, 10 minutes before the event begins.

People with accessibility concerns can request to be seated first. Seats arranged in this way will be held until 10 minutes before the event starts.
