Admission to all exhibitions at the Newberry is free and open to the public. Visitors of all ages are welcome. No reservations are required. Learn about the Newberry’s current Exhibitions.

Gallery Hours

The galleries are open Monday through Saturday, except for some holidays. Please visit our Hours page for the exact times and dates when the galleries are open and closed.

Gallery Tours

The Newberry offers private tours of its major exhibitions, by appointment only. These docent-led tours are offered to groups of 10 people or more, with a minimum suggested donation of $5 per person.

A number of public tours, led by our exhibition’s curators, are also available. These are free and open to the public, and are scheduled periodically over the course of an exhibition. Upcoming tour dates include:
