Ancestry.com (subscription database) offers a searchable database of World War I Draft Registrations. As of June 2003, only 5% of all draftees were listed in this database. Ancestry also features the U.S. World War I Mothers' Pilgrimage, 1930. This database can be searched by the surname of soldier who died overseas, or by the surname of the mother/widow.
