The first half of this seminar will explore Raphael’s early years, including his time under the tutelage of Perugino and his studies in Florence and Umbria. The second half of the seminar will focus on Raphael's Roman years to consider his evolution as an artist, his cultural networks, and his cultivation of an incredibly successful workshop.
