Think the Fire burned your chances of discovering what Chicago was like in its early days? Think again! Join us as we explore a gold mine of pre-Fire treasures, many drawn from the Newberry’s collections, including maps, diaries, church records, newspapers, and sheet music. Primary source readings will further inform our discussions about what life was really like for early Chicagoans.
